Design Principal Cody Lodi AIA, LEED AP has established himself as a design leader and a creative collaborator at Weber Thompson. He has over 15 years of experience working at all scales with a focus on creating healthy, high-performance architecture. He believes in leveraging emerging digital technologies and delivery methods to better inform the design process. Cody is a mass timber advocate and design lead in the Workplace studio.
His early experience working in the construction industry gave Cody an appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into constructing a building, and a greater depth of knowledge as to how a building comes together. He has applied this knowledge to his design process, striving to achieve a balance of design expression and constructability in each of his projects. Cody is a strong advocate for design excellence, supporting and participating in the annual Seattle Design Festival and is an active member of the AIA Seattle Mass Timber Committee and the Honor Awards Committee.
A graduate of the University of Washington Master’s program, Cody maintains an active presence in the Department of Architecture. He has been the chair of the UW Architecture Professionals Advisory Council and can often be found as a guest reviewer in the design studios.
