We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Principal Todd Mayne, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, to Director of Operations and Construction. In this new role, Todd will act as a central connector at Weber Thompson. Risk management, service delivery—including documentation quality and efficiency—and construction typology application will be core focus areas of his work, bridging the firm’s design teams with field leadership.

Todd Mayne has been a vital asset at Weber Thompson for the last 20 years. As a Senior Project Manager, he specializes in construction administration and quality assurance. He is a valued resource on technical matters, mentoring various staff members as they work through construction administration issues. With direct oversight on more than $1.5 billion in projects under construction, his work includes eight high-rise multifamily towers and two workplace mass timber projects.

Todd’s current projects include the new five-story mixed-use development, Modera Bridle Trails in Kirkland, and Sloane in downtown Seattle, which was the only tower on the West Coast to start construction in 2024. Other notable projects include the new mass timber commercial developments in Wallingford and Fremont, Northlake Commons and CornerStone, as well as downtown Seattle high-rises like Kiara, Nexus, and Helios.

His leadership extends beyond the firm to the 2025 International Mass Timber and Facade+ Conferences, where he presented to diverse audiences in the AEC industry, as a juror for the AIA Northeast Illinois Design Awards, and as an alumnus of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership program.

“Todd is the right person for this position.”  states Senior Principal Amanda Keating. “His personal blend of tenacity, commitment to quality, ability to understand and implement new construction technologies, in addition to his strong, thoughtful leadership, is perfectly suited to it. I can’t wait to see how we grow and evolve as a firm with Todd in this important and unique role.”
