Monica Knapp

Monica Knapp arrived at Weber Thompson in 2007 with a background in museum collections curating / art handling and marketing. In 2008 she began running the materials library for Weber Thompson and in 2011, she joined the interior design team and has since worked on a multitude of diverse projects. Her all time favorite project to date is Stratus, a high-rise apartment tower in downtown Seattle.

After earning her BS in Psychology and Art History from Santa Clara University, Monica returned home to work for Seattle Art Museum, then spent a short time in the marketing world, but found herself fascinated by the way people respond to built environments and decided to shift her career goals to pursue interior design. True to her Seattle roots, Monica is a 90s music enthusiast, an avid reader, local coffee shop connoisseurs, and an intermittent fair weather boater. Most of her time outside of the office is spent wrangling two small children, but you may catch her on occasion running with her dog on the Burke Gilman Trail.
