Welcome to wine country

Open since 2000, Willows Lodge contains 84 well-appointed rooms including seven suites. Oversized soaking tubs and fireplaces come standard in most rooms, and hotel amenities include meeting facilities, a ballroom, two restaurants and a spa. Heavily frequented by business travelers, families and leisure travelers, the property was in need of a fresh look and Weber Thompson’s interior design team was called in for the job in 2015. Over a five year period, the team has completely modernized the interiors while maintaining the property’s luxe meets rustic charm.

Where modern meets lodge

Weber Thompson’s approach to this project was based on the concept of a lodge with a modern spin. The design team pulled the design palette from beautiful existing details like the richly stained concrete floor and the Lodge’s huge, rustic-hewn beams. Deep burgundy tones and buttery caramel are paired with warm neutrals to support this design concept. When paired with lavish textures and understated patterns, the design story is rich and complex, just like a great glass of chocolaty Cabernet Sauvignon or fruity Grenache.

A warm welcome

The updated lobby and Fireside Lounge completed in 2015 features new sculptural leather high-back seating, a custom rug, new dining chairs and tables and patio furniture. A large, timber floor lamp stretches out above the center of the seating area, dangling above a reclaimed-wood and gorgeous blackened steel and salvaged chestnut drum tables made by the local craftsman duo at NK Build.

Meetings, parties, and more

The ballroom and meeting spaces received new carpet, paint colors, subtly botanical wallcoverings, custom-made lighting fixtures, draperies and banquet chairs. The fitness center also received a face lift thanks to a more functional layout, new paint and striking accent wallcoverings.

Charming guest rooms

The attractive guest room updates include new paint colors, new linens and custom draperies that complement existing fixtures and guest room furniture. The overall effect is a brighter, more modern yet still lodge-inspired look and feel.

Luxe suite upgrades

The completion of the suites remodel in February 2020 marked a milestone for the Willows Lodge. The substantial renovation included a complete bathroom make-over, new carpet, wallcovering and paint, custom statement headboards with metal inlay accents and bedside tables, stone top make-up counters and custom ottoman, a complete lighting and furniture package, as well as vivacious Native American artwork by local artist Thomas Stream

Carrara marble and handmade tiles

Renovated Guest Room bathrooms include new carrara marble countertops with gorgeous vessel bathroom sinks, new plumbing fixtures and shower tiles, as well as new lighting, wallcovering and concrete veneer at the upgraded soaking tub. The unique tile pattern at the showers is a mix of highly-textured rectangular tiles, handmade hexagon tiles, and triangular mosaics which give the showers an air of contemporary elegance.

“The rooms were an oasis and the perfect place to retreat to after a long day of wine tasting. We loved the large soaking tub while gazing at the fireplace. ”

Claudia M, Hotel Guest

“Went here for the first time on our honeymoon! It was excellent, the rooms were so beautiful and I absolutely loved the giant soaking tub. ”

Ceilidh G, Hotel Guest

“The in room amenities including the soaking tub, gas fire and comfortable king size bed are lovely and make the room a very cozy place to while away the hours.”

James L, Hotel Guest
