FULL OVERVIEW

Trailhead affordable housing offers an inclusive community with 165 homes ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, prioritizing family-friendly layouts.

Amenities such as a teen study room, large community space, fitness center, and a rooftop deck with play area encourage connection across all ages. Three units will be owned by Life Enrichment Options to house adults with disabilities, and 10,000 sf of street-level space is reserved for city-designated community services. A future market-rate counterpart shares the site, adding economic diversity.

Idyllic Setting

Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Trailhead offers sweeping views of Cougar and Squak Mountains and sits just a mile from Lake Sammamish State Park. A shared plaza and multimodal trail connect residents directly to Tibbetts Valley Park, while the location beside Issaquah’s Transit Center ensures convenient access to the city and surrounding region.

Protecting Wetlands Through Sustainable Water Systems

When redevelopment removes the site’s large surface parking lot, the on-site wetland’s main water source will be lost. To preserve it, the design channels all roof drainage to the wetland, keeping it hydrated and thriving. Visible runnels trace the water’s path, celebrating the region’s iconic water cycle while sustaining a biodiverse habitat.
