Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about sustainable design, leading a team in collaboration, stellar in their communications internally and externally with clients, consultants, and jurisdictions while in a hybrid environment and can rock a spreadsheet like nobody’s business. If you like Deltek, that is an added plus.
We have a wide variety of exciting, complex projects, from affordable housing to market rate multifamily residential, from mid rise to high rise, from Seattle to Bellevue to all points Puget Sound. Sound like fun?
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects through all phases of design including construction administration.
- Build consensus around design ideas with clients, consultants and team members.
- Supervise and collaborate with a team and be an advocate for project success through design development to project delivery.
- Define staff roles and responsibilities for projects.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the project team.
- Foster on-going communication through team meetings and minutes.
- Coordinate consultants and jurisdictions.
- Review drawings sets for technical coordination.
- Manage project budgets, delivery plans, consultants and schedules. Track fees and scope of work for conformance to contract.
- Estimate fees, define scopes of work and assist with the preparation of project proposals and contracts.
- Prepare and execute contracts for consultants.
- Mentor staff as needed for consistent professional growth.
Requirements:
- Professional degree from an accredited university
- 10+ years of Architecture experience, including 5+ years minimum managing large complex projects
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, specifications and building codes
- Thorough understanding of project delivery plans, schedules, staffing and budgets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to distill and relay critical information to project team, clients and consultants
- Interact well with other disciplines
- Professional registration preferred
- Sustainability certification preferred
- Facility in MS Office required
- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint, preferred

Project Designer
We are looking for a passionate, sustainably minded designer to join our architecture team. This position needs someone dedicated to finding creative solutions, helping our clients realize their vision and understanding how their designs effect the broader community.
We have a wide variety of projects from affordable housing, to mid-rise and high-rise multifamily, as well as commercial office. Sound like fun?
Responsibilities:
- Develop feasibility studies applying current zoning and building codes
- Develop creative design direction with the project team
- Provide creative design solutions that align with the client’s vision, and WT values
- Actively listen and encourage collaboration throughout the design process
- Effectively communicate verbally, graphically and in writing to communicate design concepts
- Produce high quality visuals that tell the story of the design
- Present your design strategically and effectively to clients, consultants and jurisdictions
- Collaborate with your team to ensure design and documentation align with project deliverables
Requirements:
- Professional degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of Architecture experience working on large complex projects
- Strong Revit, 3D modeling, and Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Excellent design and presentation capabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of best practices associated with technical implications of design decisions
- Ability to work independently and guide collaborative design efforts
- Interact well with other disciplines
- Professional registration preferred
- Sustainability certification preferred
We are committed to pay equity that is fair and competitive. As of this posting, the salary for this position is between $77,000 and $98,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the level of relevant experience and education as well as market factors.
Landscape Architect / Designer
The right candidate is eager to jump in and lead the design, production, and implementation of urban development projects in Seattle while also supporting local and national efforts to advocate for sustainable landscape strategies.
We need a creative eye that can craft thoughtful presentations, is technology savvy and can model and render modern landscapes, with an attention to detail to turn concepts into reality. Our projects push boundaries, add beauty to our city and use the collective knowledge of our multidisciplinary firm.
Types of projects:
- Mid Rise and High-Rise residential and commercial developments
- Green Infrastructure projects
- High level strategic plans and implementation guidelines for sustainable landscapes with a focus on stormwater and potable water use reduction
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs and working drawings, from schematic design through construction documentation, with a high level of detail and clarity.
- Oversee projects through construction administration phase.
- Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules and deadlines.
- Monitor budgets, schedules and project timelines
- Remain current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, best management practices.
- Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary design team of architects, engineers, planners and other professionals.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other team members
- Create and present design including informational graphics, digital renderings, and 3-D models
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Licensed Landscape Architect or actively working towards licensure preferred.
- Professional degree from an accredited university
- 10+ years of professional experience working with Puget Sound jurisdictional codes, knowledge of streetscape standards and right of way permitting.
- Experience working with civil engineers
- Strong presentation and client care skills; confidence in interacting with internal team members, clients and consultants.
- Strong graphic skills and the ability to tell a story to present your designs
- Highly organized, efficient, self-motivated/self-directing, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrate flexible, proactive and creative tendencies, well-suited to working within a small team.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- LEED or other Sustainability-focused Accreditation is a plus
- Master Planning experience is a plus
