Underscoring the legacy of PCL’s dedication to its craft, visitors are greeted upon entry by the materials of its industry.

End-cut lumber panels, chevron patterns, and decorative screens merge wood, rebar and weathered steel while shadow boxes featuring whimsical and locally inspired bronze figures speak to the warm, collaborative nature of the company and its new office.

Inspired by Construction

Throughout the office, construction-inspired elements appear in subtle, refined ways. Acoustic ceiling panels in conference rooms recall cast concrete, wall tile references board-formed concrete surfaces, and linear pendant lights echo the form of steel I-beams.

Kitchen & Gathering

A spacious kitchen serves as a central gathering space, offering ample seating and room for conversation. Easy access encourages informal connection and coffee breaks without disrupting focused work. Black-and-white chevron tile at the heart of the space provides another understated reference to PCL’s brand language.

Focus on Biophilia

Located within a serene, tree-filled office park, the new office embraces its natural surroundings. Exterior views were prioritized in the layout, with private offices placed toward the interior and fronted with glass. Conference rooms along the perimeter are also enclosed with glass, allowing natural light and lush greenery to be experienced from all areas of the space.
