Elissa Buchalter

Elissa brings a passion for creative problem solving, 3D visualization, and thoughtful material selection to WT’s Interior Design Studio.

Elissa came to interior design through a non-traditional path grounded in fine art. She began her career creating murals and custom artwork for residential and commercial spaces, later working at a small Seattle furniture company as an art and fabrication assistant, where she was inspired to pursue interior design. Her background in art shapes her interest in how materials, form, and space influence creativity and well-being, and over time, she has become deeply invested in sustainability.

At WT, she continues to expand her experience into multifamily, senior housing, and affordable housing projects, building on her workplace design background.

Outside of work, Elissa maintains a painting practice in her Georgetown studio, teaches yoga, and spends her free time exploring the outdoors with her mighty 100-pound adventure dog.
