
Wolf Saar AIA, LEED® AP
Wolf Saar, AIA, LEED AP oversees numerous mixed-use projects in Seattle and on the Eastside. He previously was a Weber Thompson senior associate. Mr. Saar has a wealth of knowledge and experience managing projects ranging from large, complex, high-rise, mixed-use developments to major commercial office projects.
A former principal and senior associate at Seattle-based Mithun, Mr. Saar was responsible for several high-profile projects, including the renovation of Seattle's venerable Smith Tower and early design guidance for both the newly completed 2200 Westlake, a major mixed-use project in Seattle, and the expansion of the Seattle Aquarium.
Mr. Saar, a Washington State University graduate, is active in the architecture community. He has served on the board of the Seattle Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and led the National AIA Continuing Education Audit Review Committee, which establishes continuing education standards and rules. Mr. Saar is also is an active member of the WSU School of Architecture and Construction Management Professional Advisory Board and an invited speaker at both WSU and the University of Washington.
In his architecture work, Mr. Saar works from the belief that a strong owner, architect and builder team in which everyone is an equal member results in the best design possible. A LEED Accredited Professional, he is a strong proponent of sustainable design.
