Sweetwater Under Construction
Sweetwater is a mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented development that will offer workforce housing for Hailey, Idaho. Weber Thompson provided architectural, interior design and planning services. Construction has begun on the first of four phases.
The 22-acre site will have 421 housing units, including including fee-simple duplexes, live/work units, town homes, carriage houses and condominium flats.
The homes are arranged among three acres of green space, including a park at the center of the community.
A community building at the edge of the park features exercise room, a children's computer room, a greatroom with fireplace and a hobby room.
To emphasize the pedestrian experience, all garages are rear-alley loaded in tuck-under parking, creating a welcoming street front with no garage doors.
