The Decatur — Seattle, WA
The Decatur Building was built in the 1950s, designed by the Space Needle architect, John Graham, but needed an interior remodel to create a fresh look for its lobby, common areas and sales center that would accelerate sales and give The Decatur a memorable, timeless look.
The creation of signature elements and the development of a new attitude for The Decatur was key. A mix of old and new was designed to speak to an authentic urban living experience and create a homeowner lounge to foster a sense of community and activate the lobby.
The refresh was completed with a modest budget and within four weeks including design, construction, lighting and furnishings. The overall result was a very happy homeowner group and an increased velocity of sales.
