The visceral aspects of design are what drew Mariya to the profession – evoked emotions, recalled memories and relayed stories. As a member of Weber Thompson’s Interior Design Studio, Mariya helps tell those stories and influence spaces through her use of color, pattern and texture. Formerly WT’s resource coordinator, Mariya is always in touch with the latest and greatest eco-conscious, cutting-edge materials.
Mariya spent two years living in Peru where she was inspired by the vivid hues and patterns she frequently encountered. She parlayed this inspiration not only into her career but into a well-regarded craft blog, which you can follow at MyCraftAffair.
