Stuart joined Weber Thompson in 2008 as a Project Coordinator working on large mid-rise and high rise projects. He brought over a decade of experience working mostly on large commercial buildings, retail tenant improvements, college laboratories and facilities for the United States Forest Service.
A strong proponent of sustainable design, Stuart is trained in sustainable strategies to improve stormwater quality, including Green Roofs, and holds a UW Certificate in Green Stormwater Infrastructure Design and Management. He researched green roof practices in Switzerland and applied that knowledge to his work on the new New York Aquarium where he collaborated with the project landscape architect of the proposed green roof. When not considering how to get plants up on roofs, Stuart like to spend his time on his other passions – learning about the art, architecture, food, music and people of other countries through his extensive travels.
