Redmond 74 — Redmond, WA
Redmond 74 is a 7.7-acre planned community of 108 housing units divided amongst 33 buildings, with access to the Sammamish River Trail through a preserved two-acre wetland. The site is arranged with a row of slightly larger scale buildings facing Woodinville-Redmond Road, matching the scale of a larger road and sheltering the smaller duplexes and townhomes at the interior of the site.
Building types include five-unit rowhouses and several different kinds of duplexes designed in a Northwest Craftsman style. Buildings are arranged to face and frame streets and green spaces, with tuck-under garage access relegated to back alleys and car courts. Each unit has a front porch or stoop with a yard, and the majority have a private deck or terrace as well. A large green space with a children's play area sits at the west end of the site at the convergence of the community's pedestrian pathways.
