Federal Way’s urban center economic redevelopment and planning vision is turning away from the typical auto-centric development to a pedestrian oriented and mixed-use urban development. Sky Tower was designed as part of that redevelopment – to bring density, revitalization and pedestrian connectivity to the City Center.
Situated near the new urban transit hub, this mixed-use project will contain retail, commercial office, and a boutique hotel. Expansive views of downtown Seattle, Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier are visible from almost every window. The development creates a public-private amenity in the form of a ¾ acre landscaped plaza, and nearly 20,000 sf of restaurant and retail space at the plaza and sidewalk levels that will enliven and activate this new pedestrian focused community hub and bring economic vitality to this emerging city center.
