WEBER THOMPSON'S OFFICE RECEIVES LEED PLATINUM CERTIFICATION
Weber Thompson’s 27,000 sf office space in The Terry Thomas earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification for Commercial Interiors from the U.S. Green Building Council, a national organization that recognizes achievements in sustainable or "green" construction. The commercial interiors of Weber Thompson’s office were designed and submitted for LEED Platinum certification by Weber Thompson, a full service architecture, interior, community and urban design and landscape architecture firm. The interiors represent one of only two commercial offices in Washington State to achieve LEED Platinum certification for Commercial Interiors and only one in twenty world-wide to achieve this high standard. The LEED Platinum certification follows on the heels of The Terry Thomas certification for LEED Gold certification for Core and Shell.
"The LEED Platinum certification is really the icing on the cake. Not only is the building LEED Gold certified and our space a delightful, light filled and healthy place to work, it is an interior environment now recognized as a pinnacle of sustainable design", said Peter David Greaves AIA, LEED AP, Principal for Weber Thompson who led the design team.
