Weber Thompson in The Wall Street Journal – Again
Twice in one month, The Wall Street Journal quoted Weber + Thompson Founding Principal Blaine Weber, AIA, about residential development in downtown Seattle. In the June 9, 2007 edition, he discussed the success of Madison Tower/Hotel 1000. Weber Thompson was the architect of record and designed the condominiums and amenity spaces in the 24-story project. "The project attracted upscale buyers who appreciate the convenience of ordering a salad nicoise from room service at 3 a.m. …" In the May 9 edition, Weber explained that people are moving downtown not only to live in a vibrant neighborhood but to "recapture [the] hour or two a day" they now spend commuting to work.
