Eden Hill's Design Wins Honor

November 24, 2008

Weber Thompson’s Eden Hill project received a commendation award in the commercial building category at the Excellence in Masonry Design Awards, sponsored by the Masonry Institute of Washington. Judges reviewed entries for overall design excellence and creative use of masonry.

Eden Hill is a red brick building on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill. Located at 1935 Queen Anne Ave. N., Eden Hill features 36 apartments and a 14,000-square-foot retail base with a Bartell Drugs and Pasta & Co restaurant. Eden Hill, an environmentally sustainable building, is pursuing LEED-NC Silver certification. LEED-NC stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design New Construction.

“This award is a wonderful credit to the Eden Hill project team, which earned this recognition,” said Weber Thompson Principal Steve Price, AIA.
