Design of AVA Wins Praise
Wendy Leung's Seattle Condo Review commends Weber Thompson's design of AVA, a 41-story hotel/condo project set to rise at Eighth and Pine in downtown Seattle. The September 25, 2007 post praises the design of the exterior and "the very creative disguise" of the above-grade parking, which is shielded by town homes. Weber Thompson helped pioneer this design tool, which the firm calls "upholstering," in Seattle.
