Jim Westcott AIA, LEED AP has managed numerous complex projects in the Seattle area, including Hotel 1000 / Madison Tower, Colman Center, Lakepointe Master Plan, Point Edwards and Expo 62. He currently is focused on initial design concepts for several new projects.

Mr. Westcott, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from New York Institute of Technology, Center for Architecture. He is a licensed architect in the state of Washington, and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional.

With more than 21 years of professional experience and 12 years' experience in the construction industry, Mr. Westcott has worked for several top architectural firms, including Rafael Vinoly Architects and Callison Architecture. His resume includes extensive experience in mid- and high-rise residential projects, mixed-use urban infill projects and retail, commercial and cultural projects.

At Weber Thompson, Mr. Westcott's responsibilities range from design and project management to construction administration. A natural leader, he founded and directs Weber Thompson University, a continuing education program designed to continue improving the firm's design and project management systems while infusing the company with directed creative outlets. Mr. Westcott is also a member of Weber Thompson's Human Resource Team, contributing to the management and hiring of staff.
