
Dan Foltz AIA, LEED® AP
Dan Foltz, AIA, LEED AP leads the design and planning of complex urban projects with an emphasis on high-rises. He is the designer of Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue, the first of a generation of downtown high- rises under the new zoning code and currently under construction. Mr. Foltz's other projects include AVA, 6th and Wall, Colman Center, 1800 Terry, 1915 2nd Avenue and Expo 62.
Mr. Foltz, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), has over 25 years of comprehensive professional experience, both domestic and international, with an intensive design background in a wide range of project types and markets. In addition to residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, Mr. Foltz has extensive experience in hospitality, science and technology related facilities and master planning and urban design. Before joining Weber Thompson, Mr. Foltz worked for other notable architectural firms in the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest, including MulvannyG2 Architecture and Sienna Architecture Company in the Northwest and Hansen Lind Meyer in Chicago. Most recently, prior to joining Weber Thompson, Mr. Foltz developed and maintained a successful private practice.
A registered architect, Mr. Foltz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Outside of the office, he is engaged in community affairs. Mr. Foltz is a former member and chairman emeritus of the Queen Anne / Magnolia / South Lake Union Seattle Design Review Board, and a former member of the Monorail Review Panel of the Seattle Design Commission. Previously, he was also a member of the Capitol Hill Neighborhood Planning Committee. He is currently a member of the Seattle Central Community College Citizen's Advisory Committee.
