Crestwood Plaza — Bellevue, WA
The design team was faced with numerous geographic and site challenges for this 8-story commercial office building. The site was steep with very wet soils and bordered both a residential neighborhood and a heavily traveled arterial. To meet these challenges, Weber Thompson worked diligently with the construction and engineering teams to incorporate substantial value engineering that helped bring the project in on time and on budget. Using proportions that are sympathetic to the residential scale, a thoughtfully modulated curtain wall and urban landscape features combined to create a striking office complex that seamlessly blends with its surroundings.
