
Carrie Smith IIDA, LEED AP
Principal Carrie A. Smith IIDA, LEED AP leads Weber Thompson’s interior design team. Working collaboratively across many disciplines, Ms. Smith creates memorable environments that meet the unique needs and aspirations of each project, from the initial branding and concept design ideas to the final touches of furnishings and accessories. She has a dedication to client service as well as a passion for color and materials, and she can whip any space plan into shape with a roll of trace and a black Sharpie.
Ms. Smith joined Weber Thompson in 2011, after nearly twenty years of experience designing compelling interiors across the United States, China, India, and the Middle East. Her work covers a broad mix of project types, including hospitality, single-family and multi-family residential, retail mixed-use, commercial, and educational spaces. She previously worked at Callison Architecture and Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects in Seattle, as well as firms in Boston and Chicago.
A graduate of the Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Ms. Smith received a Bachelor of Arts in Magazine Journalism from Drake University. She is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association and is a NCIDQ certified interior designer.
